Casa Marina is an old farmhouse renovated in the early ‘90s, on the slopes of Mount Venda in Galzignano Terme and surrounded by the lush vegetation of the Euganean Hills.
The building, owned by the Veneto Region, is home to the Teaching and Nature Education centre of the Euganean Hills’ Regional Park. Sundry hiking trails start from here; besides, the center offers all the computer equipment to discover the beauty and history of the Euganean zone.
Casa Marina is also the seat of the Park Learning Library, where visitors can examine various publications and see audiovisual issues concerning the environment and nature education.
You can also visit the wonderful Botanical Garden, where more than 1400 plant species characteristic of the Euganean hills have been reproduced. One of the main tasks set by of the Botanical Garden aims at preserving and multiply the plants that are at risk of extinction.
Casa Marina also offers a well-equipped hostel with 24 beds; here architectural barriers are absent, facilitating the stay of people with disabilities.
